In the residential, commercial, tertiary sector, but also in the production and industrial sector, HVAC + R systems (heating, ventilation and air conditioning and refrigeration) allow you to manage all the main factors that determine the internal microclimate of an environment.
The great challenge facing these systems, responsible for about half of the energy consumed in buildings, is being able to balance the needs of living comfort with those of energy saving.
The measuring equipment intervenes to help: the first step to understand what the situation is and the scope for improvement in energy saving is in fact calculating how much energy is fed into the system and how much is consumed.
The new technologies for the metering and thermoregulation of heat, made mandatory by the regulations on energy efficiency, make it possible to independently regulate the heating in buildings equipped with a centralized system or connected to a centralized district heating user and to measure the thermal energy actually taken from each single property unit. This can also be useful for tax purposes since the sale or purchase of thermal energy is governed by the “financial transaction” and the instrumentation used for the calculation of consumption must be certified according to the “MID” (Measuring Instruments directive) where applicable.

In Hall 5 – Stand M01 we will present our technologies for the Heating sector including:
IFX-E3 ISOFLUX, a thermal energy meter designed to measure and
record data in two separate registers for heating and cooling; it can be used for commercial energy consumption metering, for local or district heating systems, in domestic environments, office buildings, centralized energy systems and similar projects; it combines the flexibility of the “ONE” function (Optimized & Nimble Elaboration) with the availability of different communication protocols.
MV110 ISOMAG, a converter for electromagnetic flow meters mainly used where performance and outputs or basic protocols are required, which can be programmed via keyboard on the front or via PC with mini USB adapter and which can be coupled to the flanged sensors or wafers of the ISOMAG line.
Our Stand T36 – Hall 15 will be dedicated to technologies for Refrigeration including:
CS3795 ISOMAG, an insertion flowmeter in compact version without indicator, which integrates sensor and converter in the same body.
