ECOMONDO 2025: the beating heart of the green & circular economy
The ecological transition also relies on the adoption of innovative technologies for more efficient and sustainable management of water and energy resources.
In this context, ECOMONDO confirms itself as the place where exhibitors and visitors from around the world meet to turn challenges into opportunities through cutting-edge technologies.
From November 4 to 7, the pavilions of the Rimini Expo Centre will host exhibition stands, conference rooms, and meeting areas, featuring debates, panels, and seminars focused on the latest innovations and technological solutions across the various sectors of the sustainable economy.
The Exhibition Area
ECOMONDO 2025 will span 166,000 square meters of exhibition space across 30 pavilions.
The event will be organized into seven major thematic areas: one focused on waste as a resource, one on the water cycle and the blue economy, one dedicated to soil regeneration, one on bioenergy and agriculture, one on satellite observation and environmental monitoring, and finally, an area entirely devoted to regenerative and circular bioeconomy.
The vertical districts will also return, including the pavilion dedicated to the blue economy and water protection, which has been one of the fair’s landmarks since 2023.
Other districts include those focused on circular and healthy cities, sustainable paper design, ethical fashion, and No Dig technologies, which allow the installation of underground pipes and cables without open excavations.
A central role will also be played by the Innovation District, the newest district, dedicated to new technologies and innovative environmental solutions, with the participation of some of the most promising start-ups.
Increasingly, ECOMONDO is shaping up as an international platform for discussion rather than just a trade fair, addressing pressing topics related to the environment, sustainability, and the climate crisis.
Last year, delegations from 120 countries participated, and this year the Technical-Scientific Committee will once again offer in-depth sessions on ecosystem restoration, regulatory frameworks, bioenergy forms, and predictive resource management.
